Bid history tells you a lot. And you're right, not enough people read it. Especially at eBay.

I have not had that problem, but I'm nervous about buying high-end computer stuff because of those shenanigans.

Next time you lose a bid! Check the bid history of the item!
I have had a lot of very odd to say the least happen with the bid history
Next time you lose check the times of the bids. I have lost to people who are not on the bidding history till the very end and at lower then my max. bid ( place my bid 10 seconds before the end of the auction)in the bidding history, it gives there time as (days befor the end of the bid note there not in the bidding history till the very end
Also a few times I was the winning bidder and only bidder till the very end also no bits at all till the last bid 10 seconds (my bid ) and the same thing happens someone wins on a bid they made days before but no bids where in the bidding history before mine
This happens even when I am the only bidder
note this seems to happen only on extremely good deals with computer parts and very high end items
I have reported this to ebay and copied the bid history and pasted it to the report in the proper fashion many time and never even received a reply not even an automated reply that a report was made on my account
Am I alone or does no one read bid history

I believe Affiliate marketing is the way to go. Although there are many options, once you get used to this whole process, it's just a matter of kick back and relax!

eBay pushed 'Buy It Now' or 'fixed price' listings much harder than auctions the past couple of years, along with squeezing out the small sellers. They're the 'auction killers', athough there will always be an auction market for used items at least.
